Arab Short Film Festival

The Orfalea Center for Global & International Studies presents a four-film feature festival featuring films from Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. This festival highlights the power of film as a medium deserves special attention as a way of telling Arab stories, and this collection is chosen as an opportunity to show Arab personal stories in a way that is often not portrayed in cinema. Selected for their poignant storytelling, the films include Ehab Tarabieh's "Forgotten" (Golan Heights); Firas Khoury's "Maradona's Legs" (Palestine); Oualid Mouannes' "The Rifle, the Jackal, The Wolf, and the Boy" (Lebanon); and Ahmad Saleh's "Night" (Palestine).
